This is the rechargeable NiCd battery version of the alkaline battery type 3800. A Lead Acid battery version (3850LA) is also available, both with a 240V transformer. Vehicle installation is also possible with 12V plug-in adapter or direct wiring. The quick release charging base can be attached to a wall allowing the torch to be removed with one hand.
